@endof10 hoping to find people in South Devon Uk who can help. I am running mint but cannot help people on my own.
Sounds good, IIRC Devuan is a debiab fork, are you up for perhaps collaborating and maybe seeing if we can help people install Linux on their computers to replace windows 10?
Are you on the Devon and Cornwall Linux user group discussion list or matrix channel, both are very quiet which is fine at the moment?
@zleap
Yes happy to help.
FWIW I'm not on either the local user group or Matrix channel: my own needs for linux are fairly stable.
Are you thinking about helping domestic users or also small business?
I assume you will want to standardise as much as possible on a default configuration as a replacement for W10 so it can more easily be both installed and supported if necessary post installation.
For what I know most about, as well as Devuan/Cinnamon I currently mostly use LibreOffice, Firefox, Evolution Mail, Rythmbox, Signal, Zoom, Brother Network Printer via CUPs, Simply Scan and a variety of Graphical and Audiovisual tools but do also muck about a bit in the CLI with with ssh (into my postfix mail server) and bash scripts.
I am not too sure yet, I think the first step is to perhaps raise awareness of the situation, maybe either add the lug information to the endof10 website or something else.

@zleap Hi Paul.
I live in South Devon: Teignmouth.
I used to be a Mint user up to and including v17.3 but switched to Devuan, still with Cinnamon, as I won't have systemd on my boxes.
