Given covid was a world wide pandemic, with many more suffering long covid, are we seeing similar figures in other countries, as if these heart attacks are caused by covid impacting the heart / blood vessels, surely you would see similar things happening in other countries.
@zleap @DenisCOVIDinfoguy @auscovid19 That’s not going to be a very straightforward comparison. Vaccination decreases the severity of COVID. That really took off mid 2021, with vulnerable cohorts going first in most countries. So in most countries you’d see much less people at risk for heart attacks who got their first infection before vaccination, compared to the US (because vaccination was politicized there).
