I have not seen any reference to the Linux desktop being 'woke and gay' if this is what we are being branded, then the developers are doing what they should be doing, creating a UI that can be used by people regardless of who they are, and the developers understand or starting to understand the needs of the users come first.
Nothing wrong with that, is that any different to alt-text features being 'standard' and people at least try their best to provide alt text but those who need the alt-text the come out and say 'thank you' and that they appreciate us doing that.
