According to the video posted yesterday, the Canadian premier now intends to use Canadas own Aluminum and Iron, to make cans, steel and other products in Canada, rather than exporting in to the USA then importing back in at huge cost.
The EU/UK should be making a deal with Canada, at least that deal will stay intact, the US deals apply so long as Trump is getting his way, then Tariffs go up again so that he can extort and bully us in to a new deal that only benefits him.
Trump tariffs are like a yo yo given to a 1 year old baby, you won't know which direction it will go in.
