There is #KnowTheirName reading in Eastbourne today: we are reading all the names of the children killed in Gaza. I arrived during the reading of 6 year olds. 30min later, still doing 6 year olds. It is just awful. #Gaza

#KnowTheirName #Gaza We read from 9am-6pm. This is a joint effort: the reading started in Seaford, where the names of 0-4y children were covered; we did 5-11; Lewes will read 11 upwards.
We had the inevitable negative comments and confrontations here and there, but also a lot of support. Some passers-by also did some reading. Needless to say, it was profoundly sad and upsetting.

We could do with an account a bit like @auschwitzmuseum but for Gaza, each day post a little about a person murdered by the IDF plus a photo if available.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This idea is not in any way meant to devalue the fantastic work of that account and associated work, but to serve a similar purpose to put names/faces to the casualties. The holocaust can and should never be forgotten, but we are actually meant to learn from it, and not let it happen again.

The human race has FAILED.
