Is there no way to search even the local timeline?
I saw a toot a couple of days ago and can't figure out how to find it again.

@peterdrake perennially frustrating. if I see a post I want to remember, I interact with it or bookmark it
@2ck Alas. I can't always predict that. Sometimes two days later I'm reminded of a toot, but by then it's lost to the sands of time.
