@lupyuen Any requests for what I unload Ghidra on for the BL602? Also what code suits your work better? And yes you do get priority code before Pine.

@AmpBenzScientist Hmmm sorry I'm not doing much work on the BL602 BLE / WiFi right now, so I can't provide the reverse engineering requirements.

Perhaps you can chat with the Nutcracker team on Matrix? Wonder if they have anything specific that they need. E.g. for porting a new BLE / WiFi stack to BL602.

Thanks! 🙏

@lupyuen I don't know if I am fully in the loop with what they do. The code I provided seemed to be of great assistance for porting. I'm not sure that they would want the original source code or rather as close to it as I can get.

@AmpBenzScientist Yeah things get a little fuzzy because there's no Software Lead for the project.

If we're not sure how to start, I suggest we take a short break until the reverse engineering requirements become clearer 🙂

@lupyuen I was just told that they didn't want BL code. They need to know how it works. :blobcatgoogly:

@AmpBenzScientist Haha OK maybe we take it slow then ... I'm not clear which direction we're heading 🤷🏻‍♂️

@lupyuen I'm considering stepping back from the community and only communicating with a few of them when they need something. It's starting to seem more Pine oriented than the larger Open Source Community. I'm not going to waste my time dealing with them when I can just bypass them and do more good. "...and do all of it for free." I see what you mean. I've grown disillusioned by doing it for free and you're the only person affiliated with the community that has acknowledged what I did. Some have given me some praise but the criticisms are making me want to pull it away from them and get it functional just to keep it as an external github. Eventually I would like to gain employment and I don't see a future in continuing to work as if I was under their employment.

@AmpBenzScientist Yeah I know what you mean ... It's hard to get appreciated when we do open source work!

Maybe sometime in future someone will truly appreciate the work you have done. Meanwhile just relax, stay healthy and watch out for opportunities 🙂

@AmpBenzScientist Open Source works in mysterious ways...

What's my most popular article right now? It's the article on Flutter and BLE that I wrote a year ago...

lupyuen.github.io/pinetime-rus

People still ask me about Flutter and BLE. But sorry I have already moved on to BL602.

My #2 article is on PinePhone and Wayland...

lupyuen.github.io/pinetime-rus

But I'm no longer coding on PinePhone. So some open source things won't take off till a year later 😉

@lupyuen I'm considering going back to finding bugs and trying to keep the internet free, regardless of some special shield or oppressive government.

@lupyuen It would have been more noble if I had taken the bait years ago to go and work in Zhongguo.

@lupyuen That's a long and very weird story about how two people were impressed with my work and wanted me to help their University with a super computer. One is an American male so like every weekend during this period of my life, I end up being the Designated Driver while all my friends get drunk. The guy came back over to me later in the evening and told me that his wife wanted to have sex with me. She did want to. Yes it's an odd story and perhaps a noble cause but I can't leave out that one part. I think they might have both wanted me to.

@AmpBenzScientist Ahem too much info ... You realise the whole world is reading this? 😉
