@Pat Not certain. No one caught physical evidence of it so you cant say with certainty. But it is what people are claiming who were familiar with the situation. Though we only know it was some sort of bathroom accident, the shitting part is assumed.
Reminds me of when Bush-41 barfed on the Japanese Prime Minister on live TV.
Also, when Carter's hemorrhoids made the evening news.
@Pat Normally i wouldnt think much things matter much, they are worth a laugh at best. Even in this case it isnt a huge point, but it is suggestive that Biden is a bit too old for the job which I tend to agree with. His mind is clearly going when you hear him talk, albeit at the early points of decline. He has no business as president, should have retired years ago.
@Pat Side note, my Dad and Kennedy were actually fairly close. He was one of his military advisors and would often have private discussions with him in the oval office.
When you get to be my age, I think you may change your mind. The wisdom continues to accumulate, at least it has for me. If you think back on who you were 10 or 20 years ago -- that process continues.
Wow. You should be proud of your father. I was going to mention some of Kennedy's mistakes that I felt may have been due to his inexperience, but now I realize I would have embarrassed myself.
@Pat Wisdom may accumulate, you may loose wisdom. Age is only the oppertunity for wisdom not the garuntee of it. I know 20 year olds who are more wise than some 80 year olds and vice versa.
Yea my dad was basically one of the founding members of the CIA. His involvement with CUBA and all the mistakes made there have been told to me with an insiders perspective as to how and why some of those mistakes came to be. All very interesting family stories for sure.

@Pat from what i hear its fairly inaccurate historically so I have never made it a high priority.
Seemed realistic, but others would know more than me. Sometimes it's fun to watch films like that just to point out the flaws -- like watching a scifi where the spaceships make noise in the vacuum of space.
@Pat yea it is a historic fiction. Obviously some points are historic, others are not.
If I remember correctly, this is one of those Hollywood films that has some issues with racial bias, too. Pretty obviously, in fact.

Do you recall anything about how black people were treated in the film? I've seen random clips posted here and there, and it looks like the film began with black/Latino men beating up the protagonist. It appears to also have other black people in the film, but having not watched it, I'm not sure how that was handled.
@Pat honestly i dont pay attention to race much... A good thing in some ways as I dont really treat one race as any different from another as I dont "notice" it usually... but it also means i dont pick up on such bias in movies unless im looking for it.
Never even realized LOTR completely lacked any actor other than whites until just recently and that is one of my favorite movies I've watched many times.
That's the same for a lot of folks, myself included until a few years ago.
The problem is that the images, the feelings, get through to your unconscious, even though you don't consciously notice it.
The point of that exercise with the 10 films was to try to see it and quantitize it somehow, just to get a feel for the scope and depth of the problem. Small sample, but...
@Pat There may be an unconscious component, maybe not. Hard to say. I tend to think if any effect exists its quite minimal, just as I dont feel violence in video games causes people to be violent.
That said even if it doesnt effect us as viewers it is unfair that minorities would have a hard time getting a fair consideration for a role. So it is an issue all the same.
@Pat trump and biden were too old for sure.. I dont like Obama much but his age wasnt an issue for me. I dont see "too young" as a thing as long as you got an early enough start in politics to have at least a decade of experience I'd say you are good.
