That seems quiet and efficient. I've been using 20" box fan with 20x20 HVAC filters for many years now, but it uses about 20 to 50 watts, which is a lot. Maybe I'll try that instead.
I wonder if you could use that setup on a computer tower so it could pull double-duty -- filter the air while cooling the machine at the same time? That would probably keep the inside of my computer from gathering dust, too.
