I think it sends the wrong message.
I skip over a good portion of toots in the public feeds with all kinds of content I'm not interested in.
Also, CWs are for people with conditions that make them susceptible to harm like flashing lights. If CWs are on a lot of otherwise harmless toots, it makes it more difficult for them.
Well, that's not what they're for, but I guess you can use them for whatever you want. I gave you my take on it.

@Pat Again, I disagree. I subscribe to the idea that CWs are "content wrappers", or essentially subject lines, and can be for things that trigger folks or simply about subjects some people prefer to avoid. For example, I know some people put wordle results behind CWs, which is nice because idgaf about wordle.
