@futurebird How this one. The other problem with the current QT implementation at qoto is that it doesn't seem possible to reply with a QT. It seems to be an either or situation.
Yep.
As more and more services implement QT this is what those on Mastodon based servers will see.
It shows up as a link. The link takes me to another server where I'm not logged in.
For newer users this has caused them to keep making additional accounts at multiple servers-- they think they need an account at each server to respond!
The solution is to search for the URL on my home server. But that's borders on hostile design if you ask me.
@futurebird @SETIEric I've been wrestling with this, and have arrived at what seems like a solution in the #steampipe #dashboard I use as a front-end to Mastodon.
