@Sphinx alas, your screenshot is so small, I don't really see what is the problem you are seeing now.

this compose post function as following image have no reaction after click.
the extension name shows in other image.
@Sphinx That seems to be the extension I use too.
But as of an hour ago somehow all is working well -- I even went to check if an update had been released.
Suggestion -- install Waterfox Current, a brilliant browser, and then the extension, and see if yo have that problem.
The Pencil button in the side menu is intended for New posts in the current timeline.
