The brass neck on is amazing. He disobeyed a direct instruction that everyone heard him being given, after having plenty of advance warning. He still refuses to explain or justify his petty, selfish behaviour. Then he complains that the reporting didn't give his reasons.

Starting to think the whole team is irredeemably toxic.

@Spinybadger Well, threatening people related to them but not within the team is... even more toxic. I can see why he's disgruntled. People have a problem with _him_, so let them threaten him instead.

@trinsec Sure. But the people he's attacking in the press haven't done that. They've just reported on the facts, which is their job.

We can all agree that violent threats are awful and should be subject to zero tolerance. I'm not seeing the culpability of people who reported his actions.

@Spinybadger
Alright, I do see where you're coming from. But I think the 'media' also have a certain responsibility. I don't think I can word it better than that at the moment.

@Spinybadger Absolutely agree. As the saying goes, "a fish rots from the head down". Horner is responsible for the culture within the team, which has been amplified by Max.

@stokes Don't forget Marko. He isn't seen as much (just as well), but he's clearly a big part of the team culture.

@Spinybadger Yep. Never forget about Dr Evil lurking in the background.

@Spinybadger Oh I agree with your assessment of Red Bull team. I think it may have been Mark Webber's autobiography that sowed the seeds for me. But you see how no drivers seem to thrive except Max. They all seem to be bruised and battered, and have lost some mojo.
