Motorcycle just randomly went by my apartment Window ... at 20?37 ... Just da fuck?
@cambridgeport90 There is a motorcycle that often goes past my window early in the morning. One of those Japanese style crotch-rockets.
The real problem is that when that engine is spinning up it sounds almost exactly like the red alert sirens that warn us of incoming missile/rocket/mortar attack. it's woken me up many times with a start.
@Surasanji This one didn't sound quite like that. Sounded like one with a rather large engine, though.
@cambridgeport90 More an American style bike then. Throaty. those don't wake me up with the 'I'd better get under something' thoughts.
@cambridgeport90 Yeah, the American ones tend to be more throaty. When they're idling really bassy- almost like they're saying 'potato potato potato'.
@Surasanji It sounded like it, though I'm not up on my engines, so, I probably wouldn't be the one to ask.
