Security flaw I fixed is having multiple user accounts instead of just having root and letting root only do the bare minimum in content creation.

The one feature I integrated is having a shared directory over multiple accounts.

Some open source shifts I have already taken:

@barefootstache As much as you probably don't want the input; can I recommend doom-emacs over neovim? As a former Vim diehard, I have to say it's pretty comfy.

@johnabs might try it out after learning all the in's and out's of neovim first. The other reason I'm hesitate of GUI based editors, is that it's a bit tricky using them on servers.

@barefootstache Oh! Emacs has a thing for that which I love, its called TRAMP, so you can work with servers *through* emacs so no copying your config or worrying about weird merge/versioning errors. It completely changed my research workflow with the supercomputer, I HEAVILY suggest it! :ablobcool:
