When I make with milk. I first pour the milk then the coffee.

It seems weird, though makes more sense. Since I realized that if I follow the typical route first coffee then milk, more times than not I either burn myself or it is filled to the rim.

This way I have less of a chance of filling it to the rim while getting the desired ratio of coffee:milk.

As an added bonus the mixing is done more efficiently, since the less dense fluid is already present in the cup before adding the more dense one.

@barefootstache It also helps reduce the risk of the milk coagulating, but may reduce the concentration of your brew. Optimal technique is adding equal volumes of both simultaneously...but barring that, milk in first is, in fact, the dominating solution :ablobcool:
