@bibliolater @bookstodon No. Would lead to gaming in yet another dimension. Meet the 1 page book. Meet the 100,000,000 page book. These exciting new works appear at the top of some queries.... Just encourages a new type of spam.

@bibliolater: Yeah, that's a really good metric then. Long books with lots of pages are inevitably better than short books. End of.

Yes. It's probably an important metric to some people. And what would it hurt? In short, why can't we have it all when it comes being a consumer?
