@riggs7sct I have it available on my instance. I remember when I first started using #Mastodon I was informed that it's use was disliked on the platform that is why I ask.
@bibliolater disliked? It's optional 🤦♂️ but also handy when needed
@riggs7sct I used it a few times at the start but was given a sharp reprimand by a user. Since that time I have not touched the quotation button; however, I heard it is being brought to the wider platform at some point.
Oh hell no. If it's there for you to use, use it. Seriously. If someone else doesn't like it, that's their issue and they can take it up with the instance admin.
Or if they are an instance admin, let your own instance admin know.
