holy smokes my mother is dense. heart problems the whole afternoon. then tries to call me at 8 in the evening when i was eating. called her back at around 9 when she finally decided to call the fucking ambulance who were with her. i'm much more pissed than worrying right now.
@swiley that's perfectly fine. buy the ticket, take the ride though.
i'm no fucking medic, the only thing i'd have told her to do is to call the medics. it may sound a bit heart-less but i really have enough of my own problems, i really don't need to spend hours to convince my mother who's got no dementia or shit to call the ambulance. hell, it's fucking free as in free beer here in germany.
@bonifartius IME it's *really* hard to convince your parents to go to the hospital when they need it.
I don't blame them though, I'd probably do the same.
