Literally the argument #slackware users have been making for decades now: nothing moves in your system without your explicit knowledge and consent, and every configuration is stored in easily editable text files. We detest opacity.

@josemanuel if i'd have a nickel for every time someone ridiculed me for using slackware only to later tell me about problems that just don't exist when using sane software.. :)

@bonifartius @josemanuel your own fault for wasting the chance. when your system just works, it's YOU who gets more time to ridicule others for their stuff not working :D on a serious note, anybody who dares to ridicule a Slackware user must be asked if he knows about the immortal "Richard started it first"(tm) OpenBSD mailing list thread. they deserve to get warned about what's coming at them
