Now I am apparently fishing in #java #minecraft for days, in order to catch a #bowl so that I get the bowl #recipe and can make my own??

Days later: I may not know how to make a bowl yet, but boy do I have a lot of #fish !

@ceoln A wooden bowl? Just 3 wood planks in a bucket pattern? Or is this a specific modpack with modified recipes? Or is this some other Minecraft?

It's just vanilla ("Java" branch) Minecraft. I probably could just build it, even though it's not in the catalog, but at the moment I'm not doing that (how would I know after all?).

If any, you could hold a wonderful BBQ. Just not sure the clientele is to your liking. One hisses, one puts arrows in your knees, and one wants to eat your brains. Oh and one want to put eggs in you too.

Thanks to your reminding it that it was possible, I gave in and have "discovered" how to make bowls! Also other things that I already knew how to make. But woot!

AND I have a lot of fish...

Oh, and, so, finally I can make BEETROOT SOUP which was for some reason the whole point.
