Would be careful with the suggestion of optimal sleep being 7h since the study was done on participants between the ages 38-73 and we know that we need less sleep as we age.
The long COVID ageing is interesting, though since they were comparing their findings to the general public, I would be wary of the results. It could almost be just as well concluded that if you are less smart than the general public that chances of long COVID increases. Thus informally saying dumb people are more likely to get long COVID.
