@LouisIngenthron Libertarians were more than ready to fully embrace crypto and abolish fiat currency all together. I was loosely referring to what happened to #FTX.
@daeyoung Some did, sure. Others of us saw it for the scam it was.
But the "abolish fiat currency" folks definitely tend to be more on the anarchist part of the spectrum.
@daeyoung Sounds like you're describing #AnCaps more than #Libertarians.
Most principled libertarians are perfectly fine with privately-moderated spaces and while they don't like #Regulation in general, they recognize the need for some in the financial industry to prevent widespread exploitation. They just want the least government regulation necessary to achieve that goal.
