some mastodon instances have a setting which groups new posts into a "show new posts" button, which prevents the timeline form moving while you're trying to scroll and read, does qoto not have that?

@iamo I looked at the Settings in the Web client I use mostly, and did not find anything like that. It's possible other clients could offer it.
Here I have discovered that holding onto one of the posts in the very fast moving Federated feed seems to freeze it in place, so I can actually read it.
Moving up later to the top, I can refresh it normally.
