I also remember learning that unwanted things and assorted detritus would go in the 'trash'.

Which here in Canada is usually called 'garbage', instead. UK people will say it's going 'to the bin' , or to be 'binned'.

Washroom, Bathroom, Toilet, Rest Room, you might find people using variations for the place we urgently need to visit for nature's calls. 😜
