I did not get a chance to talk about this earlier but my US History class was amazing. We kicked it off w/ civil rights, and had the balls to say "all lives matter" and "the south was wrong" in the same breath. What a champ.

The only thing from what he said that gave me pause was when he insinuated that there was some sort of "party switch" in the 1960s, but I suppose we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

@realcaseyrollins That is an interesting decade to study in general, and in American History has a lot too.

- election and government by Pres. Kennedy.
- Cuba Missile Crisis, the closest we got to the Cold War turning VERY HOT. (near firing of nuclear headed torpedos in fact, by a Russian sub who was being blasted by US destroyer with depth charges.
- resolution of said crisis, as seen in film and book form.
- assassination of Pres. Kennedy, a great tragedy.

And so much more.
