QuodVerum seems like an interesting instance.

However, the rules on their home page contradict themselves:

"We welcome all ideas and opinions, and will exercise minimum moderation only when we believe laws are being broken...But our platform is not a launching pad for criminal activity, harassment or the promotion of violence or bigotry in any form, against any one."

You cannot accept "all ideas and opinions" and ban hate speech at the same time. Why?

1) Many opinions and ideas are either hateful and/or bigoted (if wildly unpopular)

2) "Hate speech" is loosely defined; what's acceptable now may be "hate speech" tomorrow.

@realcaseyrollins social.quodverum.com/ is a very insular instance -- to a quite extreme degree, as shown by this stats screen capture.

98.2% of all posts originated in the instance are for people in the same instance. Gab's number is just about 1% worse.

@design_RG Quite interesting, and not quite what I was expecting either. It does seem to be "Gab lite", with mostly conservatives like Gab, but no Nazis.

I was thinking that it might serve as a nice Gab alternative. I'd never tell anyone to join Gab, but I could possibly recommend this instance as a good place to go for Gabbers looking to leave but worried if they might get banned from other instances.
