@design_RG I would be interested in supporting an Economics forum, but I'm a slow writer. Is that too bad?

@compass_straight_edge You could still add content -- it's easy to source some good articles in Economics topics. The Economist, articles on NY Times, The Guardian, it's a great subject.

I have personal interest and post here in the subject. Can collaborate but wanted to tell people that taking an ownership stake in the proposed forum is crucial.

@design_RG I'm unsatisfied with my current Economics knowledge. I was thinking of writing articles myself to learn more and posting them on the forum.
The articles would have a "teaching" format. Hopefully this would help nourish a community.

Were you thinking of something different?

@compass_straight_edge You are welcome to bring in content and hopefully there will be interest -- if we get a conversation going, it feeds back and gets everyone more active and productive.

We have seen some great examples of that here this week.

@compass_straight_edge I thought of suggesting also, as a less time consuming alternative, you could write your posts and place them in other existign areas; the ycan stand by themselves in the Library for example, and people could comment if they got interested.

Firing up a new Forum area needs stamina and effort if we want to see it populated and growing.

@design_RG Interesting, I didn't notice there was a library section. I will do that then.

@compass_straight_edge

There is the Book Room (user level 1 and higher), and the Library for level 2 and higher. Levels are earned by participation and use of the forum.

Book Room is discourse.qoto.org/c/MEMBERS/B
