There was something yesterday on the similar issue of access to encrypted phone backups, but even that was some nebulous off the record maybe-maybe-not https://m.slashdot.org/story/444630
@neil @simonzerafa not sure why the US would care if it pushes people onto one of the big 4 platforms owned by the US
