@mmu_man I'm not putting rechargeables in it for now. The replacement battery sled doesn't have the contacts for charging.
now i'm wondering how much voltage that even pulls. my 90s electronics needed 7.8 volts but only on Fridays otherwise it was 15v
@naf.nyc 7 point a bit, according to the on device diagnostics. Enough to power it up and run WiFi...

@falken beware though they rely on the adapter's internal current limit to charge the batteries…
