Question 🙋‍♂️
What is a good iOS app for Mastodon, and why do you like it.
I’m using Tootle right now and am having trouble loading older posts of mine.

@flsounds I’ve started using tooot and apart from the fact I sometimes get confused about whether I’m reading mastodon or twitter (especially when there’s lots of RT’s) I like it. It gives me the fedi and the local which I didn’t get using the mastodon app, but you can’t beat using it on the website which for me makes it reminiscent of the early days of social media where you consciously sat down to check social media rather than mindlessly scrolling whilst you wait for something else, especially with the detailed content it makes social media feel less like filler and more satisfying somehow.

@juliacreatesjoy that’s a fantastic description, I feel like my experience here is like old Facebook and what Twitter would be if I would have gotten on board early on. I like the idea of having tweets and toots all in one place if it wouldn’t be to disorganized. Thank you for your comment!

@flsounds it does very much remind me of the early days I was a student then so had more time to spend in those places than I do this one but it’s the consciousness of engagement, people here seem to comment thoughtfully rather than to outrage or gain attention. It’s nice. Not to mention the extended character limit leads to people sharing bigger thoughts. You might be able to tell I’m a big fan.

@juliacreatesjoy I think a lot of us realized how bad things can get so we’re all super grateful for a new start. I’m a fan too.
