4D painting by Vito Mercurio at the International #chalkpainting festival (Calabria, south Italy )

@Lou I'm confused. What makes this 4D, isnt it just 2d made to look 3d?

Just a possible explanation

@freemo
It takes time.

@arteteco What do you mean, takes time to draw it, or does it actually play an animation or something? Or do you just mean it exists in time? @Lou

Truth is, usually this drawings are done a flat surface (2d) and they are called 3d, as they look realistic. This one is developed in height too, as there is the painted wall, so it added a dimension, making it a 4d. This should be it :)

@freemo @arteteco This is a regular 3d. The 4d has an extra vertical panel painted

@Lou Ahh I see. Catchy name, though as a scientist it confused me :) @arteteco
