@cambridgeport90 Can you please switch your swarm-app posts to unlisted. They dont provide actual content, act as advertisements, and dont really need to be int he federated or local timeline.

Thanks.

@freemo in that case I'm going to have to completely remove that integration. I can do that.

@cambridgeport90 Either that or you could set your posts to unlisted by default and just explicitly list your other posts?

But yea right now it mostly looks like advertisement spam in the timeline. Even if we didnt moderate that directly it would get you or even the server blocked most likely.

@freemo oh God. Does it really look like that? That's not my intent at all, but thankfully I think you know that. But, if I set everything to unlisted by default, unless people will see it. That's the only problem with that. I suppose I'll just take it off, after all, the only reason why I have Twitter cross-posting to here anyway, it's for when I get my blog up. I want you guys to be able to see them, but the content management system I choose to use does not have federation

@cambridgeport90 I dont think for a second it was your intent.

You are welcome to cross post from twitter. Its just the swarmapp that felt a bit spammy.

No worries I know your well intentioned.

@freemo oh boy. Looks like I have another project on my hands then. The possibility of creating an integration between these two that actually allows for filtering stuff, without the user having to go back and unlist all their post that come from other applications like that. It can probably be done.

@cambridgeport90 yea shouldnt be too hard. Sadly current cross-posters are a bit primitive.

@freemo I think it'll be easier once everybody's been around for the same amount of time.
