I highly recommend NordVPN, lots of endpoints, has their own client but also operates over standard protocols, cheap, and every single endpoint I have used has worked on all the streaming services when I am out of country.

Yea, the Linux client is a cli, if you want a gui that is lacking. I personally do t use the client at all. I just configure it using standard OpenVPN.
I see little need for a custom client for this.

Linux CLI client offers very little advantage (if any) over simply configuring OpenVPN.

I too use NordVPN and have found it to be reliable and good value for money. My only wish is that the Linux client was as polished as the Windows version.
