@design_RG In my case it is particularly relevant due to all the sciencing I do, particularly with regard to working with RF.
@design_RG That is a slightly different issue. Most of us in RF **want** high solar activity so it can ionize our atmosphere and we can use it to bounce RF beams off of it. But the same effects that give us that advantage can, in extreme cases, interfere with RF from satelites, or even on the ground.
@freemo Interesting, and reminds me of a nice SciFi novel I read.
On how things went after a big blast of magnetic waves wiped out power systems nationwide. Society collapsed promptly, and the story starts there.
Great novel.
