A Japanese penpal just asked me on birdsite, this unexpected but delightful question.

If I had a chance to rent a car for 24 hours and take an Actress with me, where would I like to go.

And who would the actress be?

Already responded to her there, wonder what thinks ?

@design_RG I dont know who but i know what I'd do.I'd find a quiet place alone for us to chat, have a private dinner maybe or something, and hang out.

Anywhere public would get too much attentiona nd distract from enjoying the person. Moreover, I would expect any one famous would be used to people showing them off like a trophy and few people would want to just get to know them as an ordinary person. So I see it as a sort of date that would be more rewarding for both of us, at least if its my only and first date with the person.

That said I dont find many famous people appealing largely because I am not attracted to the sort of personality that would thrive when exposed to fame. So I really dont know who I'd pick.

@freemo That sounds good, all reasonable points.

I knew right away who I would like for company, and it isn't an air headed star or starlet, a bimbo or sex bomb, but a lady who I would enjoy passing time with, chatting, getting to know.

Maybe more if chemistry worked.

So, no car or where to be driving in your case, uh?

@design_RG Well I'd pick a car but its only purpose would be to pick her up and drop her off. It would likely be a nice car but not overly pricey or flashy. I want to make sure whatever first impression I make would be a sustainable one should I get a second date.

@freemo I didn't even think about marital status, but knew right away who I wanted. Had to look at my videos catalog, couldn't remember the names.

Joanna Lumley, British actress, who presented a wonderful "Catwoman" docu on the BBC.

A short 2 min preview here. She's wonderful.
