Anyone out there proficient in both English and #spanish by chance? I have a very very dear friend of mine (my best friend) in fact who asked for my help. She and her dad, who speaks spanish, have for her whole life had some serious issues. It is really hurting my friends mental health. She reached out to me to try to talk to him since she knows I am usually very good at mediating with people and I think if i can reach him it would be a huge help for her.
I need someone who would be willing to translate a few emails back and forth between Spanish and English so I can attempt to have a talk with him.
I'd really appreciate someones help who is a native speaker.

For such a serious issue, its probably better if you cuold find someone from the same country.
Local dialects are mutually intelegible in general, but in informal situations people tends to use much of local slang, and that can be very confusing.
