Well it is settled, looks like I need to buy a P90! I was kinda hoping this would be the one anyway!
@design_RG It is made by FN Herstal from Belgium. That giantic fucker on the top is the clip :)
@design_RG its small for a rifle because the chamber is way back near the shoulder. So you get a surprisingly compact looking long rifle.
@freemo @design_RG It's a magazine, not a clip and I believe they were originally capped at 30 rounds for civilian use. The P90 was never availabe for civilian use. The PS90 has a longer barrel and a better looking flash hider but it's semi auto... I always thought the grips looked kinda goofy but I'd still consider getting one if it didn't cost a buck per round of 5.7.
No its a clip, by definition all magazines are clips, not all clips are magazines.
So yes it is a clip, you are also correct that you could call it a magazine though.
As for the rounds, depends on state. In PA last I checked there is no magazine size cap, but PA is the exception, most states will limit the number of rounds by local state law. But you are correct that the one free magazine it comes with is capped, that is for easier sale. You can buy additional magazines of any size though if your state allows it.
You are a;sp correct about the PS90, yes the P90 itself is automatic and not for civilian use, it is the PS90 varient for civilian use and as you said it is semi-auto, it also has a longer barrel indeed (though still short).
One not while the PS90 standard has a slightly longer barrel over the P90 TR (Standard for the P90) it shouldn't be confused with the P90 USG which has a significantly longer barrel than both.
@freemo OMG.....
Tactical, are you? LOL. Cool.
I thought it was a pistol, was busy and didn't follow the discussion closely on that thread. FN has some classic and very reliable arms. The FAL for example.
