@freemo Nope. He's stealing his own dog from himself every twelve years. So there are multiple versions that lost their dog. Maybe it works out if he tells his past selves that he's doing it, so they don't suffer. Or, retroactively all the versions whose dog was stolen later also discovered time travel, realized what happened, and that realization made up for the time spent not knowing. Or...
