As an Algorithmic Day Trader I feel kinda like I am playing one of those idle games where all you have to do to level up is sign on one a day and hit a few buttons.
@freemo are you successfully making money with your app? I've lost a lot, lol
@Demosthenes too early to give a difinitive answer yet. It has only fully went up a few days ago in its current form and hasnt built out a full portfolio yet (most of the money is sitting as cash as it it is waiting for the right time to buy). So as of yet ill refrain from claiming any success or failure.
I have it playing with about a million dollars in terms of the total account value, but only 5% of the value of the account is existing as equity (stocks) so far. so any gains and losses are very small compared to what it will be once there is a completed portfolio at play.
@freemo do you use programs to trade? In that case, what API provider do you use to operate in the exchanges?
@pthenq1 Yes, I use interactive brokers as my broker which provides an API to automate the process.
@freemo cool, if you want to share the name of the broker... I will appreciate it.
I want to trade using a program that constantly evaluate several conditions and act based on that. I cannot stay my cellphone all day :-)
