Would it be inappropriate to use this video in an email to one's boss to explain why you cant go to work today?

Depends on the boss... I couldn't with mine.
@freemo I had a boss once that treated me as a son and called me and a few others "the boys". I could've got away with it with him- my current boss? No way possible. As it stands, I get called up on things I'm already asked to do- I'm not going to try and push that line.

@lucifargundam I had a boss once who treated me like a son too, he beat me, talked down to me, cheated me out of paychecks, but occasionally told me I was his favorite... felt like family.
@freemo sounds like some of my coworkers in my last lab. I was relieved to get out of that mess- but it took a while.
