@lupyuen I know from slow cooking barley it wont be bad at all, will definitely work. It will just be a bit softer than ideal is all, but totally doable.

One slow cook tip if your going for easy is try subbing farro for barley. It keeps a bit more of its texture when slow cooking and is very similar otherwise to barley. I tend to prefer it when i have a reason to slowcook a starchy grain.
