@freemo @funny My coworkers are hopeless case... Most of them have 10+ years of IT experience and they are still in "enthusiasts" group. They compare yearly steps Goolag phones count, they have Fuckprivacybook accounts, younger people are in shady dating sites without any security protection... Fortunately our company network blocked most shady sites. Half of our team know about our company MITM but they still don't care and log in their personal accounts on company devices/network.

@madargon

To be fair im 20 - 30 years in as a professional and the enthusiast case describes me fairly well.

@freemo @funny I am in Linux fanclub for ~4 years. Some of them have kind of "integrated" systems created by themselves with open source tools. Maybe I would have something similar too - if I had "normal" network instead of just mobile SIM card 😝

Basically, the further into the tech rabbit hole you go- the further you want to get away. Hence why the most technically apt workers prefer the most remote locations.

@freemo @funny I wish this was the case across the board, but expensive brand names seems to be excluded by tech workers.

@modrobert

Yea its certainly just certain people, not all tech works... im a tech worker and I am certainly closer to the enthusiast.
