@freemo@lupyuen I am a virgin to it. I have always been a self loathing JavaScript fiend until about 10 years ago when I became a JavaScript Denier. haha
I am aware of it and looked over some code out of curiosity, but thats about as far as it goes. Not enough hours int he day for me to learn every language, but that wont stop me from trying :)
@freemo@lupyuen yeah, I think you're right. I really need to look into it further. I am surprised that a company owned by or partnered with Walmart is promoting open source so blatantly on their website...
I can't remember exactly how they are tied to Walmart... but I learned about it after I bought my Kobo ereader.
@lupyuen@freemo I wonder then if maybe they simply have a loose partnership and they are a company that just runs themselves. I hope so. I really like their ereaders a lot.
