@shoshin I'm not sure what you gain from airing this publicly - if you violate the rules you won't be welcome on this server. I did you a courtesy by only removing the post and warning you since racism is technically a banning offence. Racist jokes don't get a free pass because they're humour; they are subject to the usual rules about racism which you can find at qoto.org/about/more.

@shoshin To be fair while I supported the view the image had a racist lean to it I did say in our private discussion that it was crossing the line, but only by a toe since I can see why someone passing it casually might not pick up on the racism. That said I think its good the image was removed, as it does violate the rule against racism, I also want to say the tone and strictness of the warming was a bit harsh. In the past you havent, as far as I know, exhibited much racism in your posts (please someone correct me if I missed it). So I probably would have handled it a bit more gently and not have threatened a ban so quickly.
Long story short, I could see it as something someone would post without seeing the racism to it. The jewish as merchant sterotype isnt too horrible (its not an insult to be a merchant), but equating Muslims with bombers is where it really crossed the line for me.
