I hate smoking cigars but i live the smell of cigars being smoked. I wonder if i can just buy expensive cigars and burn them as incense?

I feel the same way about pipe tobacoo, i love the smell when people smoke it, but hate smoking it myself.
@freemo Are you smoking the cigar properly? You're not supposed to inhale them. Also, I don't think the cost is linked to 2nd hand odor. Cheap cigars burn faster and fall apart. You wouldn't care about them falling apart if using as incense. Maybe you can soak them in wax or something to slow the burn. BTW, pipe tobacco is typically more pleasant as 2nd hand smoke than cigar smoke.

I dont inhale the cigars. I just dont like smoking any sort of tobacoo, kinda nasty tasting. The smell of cigerettes is nasty too but cigars and pipe tobacoo smell great second hand.
And you are right cheap ones might work too, ill have to test it out

I don't smoke. And I hate the smell of cigars, cigarrettes and marijuana. But I like the smell of some pipe tobacco, especially those 'flavoured' with whisky or sherry brandy. And I suppose it's cheaper than expensive cigars, but I actually don't know.
@mc i like the smell of all of it as long as it isnt cigarettes and as long as im not the one smoking it.
Lets not forget the best part of all... the fatal throat cancer that helps ensure you dont need to live in this cruel unforgiving world a second longer than you need to :)
@freemo you'll need a way to get a bit of extra oxygen to them if you want them to keep burning while not actively being smoked, but simply pointing a fan at them will probably do it.
@Zest probably a few ways one could approach this problem. Drying them out first could work
@freemo I have found pipe tobacco to be a great alternative. I don't know why I didn't start sooner. My grandfather was right!
