@DoctorRinny maybe slightly.. what sort of EE you do? Ive worked ona pretty wide range myself but used to do RF tech for the military.
@freemo - Professionally, I mostly do signal/image processing (eye tracking, fMRI, EEG, and DTI most recently in medical applications). My core foundation is mathematics though, so frankly anything involving data collection and analysis are fair game. I do embedded system programming and RF stuff too, but at a hobby level.
