So this whole ufoi thing, from what I have seen:

Founder accuses website-boy of siding with nazis
Creates an org that says "GUARANTEED FEDERATION", forces instances to adapt a special code of conduct and every instance federate with each other in the org

People live, he shits on them, and gaslight every single one of the critics by claiming that "he never claimed such things" and so on.

@satan In my view it's not a bad idea - I am pissed by the fact that many instances block qoto for no other reason than just they've heard rumors. As a normie user from inside I just don't get it.

So while the idea is not bad as such, unfortunately (my very subjective view) it is executed by not exactly the most suitable person (sorry freemo).

I suggest to consider the idea separately from the person behind it.

No I agree with you, thats why i stepped down and handed it over to someone else but will happily continue to help develop it... looks rumous about me are bullshit, but either way they are still used as ammo, which makes me not the right person.

@satan

@freemo

Well, glad you take it just fine.

Personally, I agree with @satan, it's your communication style which makes it "not right". While it tends to be useful and effective in tech circles, it tends to work against you in social context requiring some diplomacy and getting people on board for a common cause. I know, because I use that style myself more often than I wish sometimes.

@satan

@FailForward

Yes you are rright of course, at leastt online.. Ironically I am known for my mediating skills in person, they just dont translate to online apparently.

I'm ok with that, its why I stepped down and am happy to help on technical stuff.
