Anyone have any suggestions fgor cool linux-oriented ways to sync bookmarks between systems and browsers? Bonus points if it does something cool with that on top of it (encryption, a social element, a way to share the bookmarks, whatever).
@freemo I actually solved that with bitwarden, has web vault and stand alone client and addon for most browsers, can be self-hosted, still not hacked yet, I a bit affraid to keep important passwords there (after LassPass hax) but as bookmark storage there is almost no better ways
(however, if they will introduce at one point nested folders and tags, that would be simply the best bookmark sync service)
@AncientGood I use pass, I could do something similar there I suppose. But i want something a bit more streamlined I think.
@freemo not really linux oriented but xBrowserSync looks like a nice project.

I use @nextcloud as my bookmarks repository, and #Floccus to sync that to browsers on laptops and desktops, and the #Nextcloud Bookmarks app on my Android device.
@freemo Not a cool way, but I use Zotero for web bookmarks. I was already using it for reference management, so it avoids the need for another sync tool!
@freemo raindrop.io ?
