I am not against background checks in their current form, which is thurough and complete.
The one issue with the current setup is loopholes at gun shows. But that doesnt appear to be a huge source of actual problems so yra im for background checks as they exist today.

I haven't been to a gun show since around 2017. The last one I went to quite literally had more cop presence than actual people looking to buy or sell. There were probably 400 cops there and maybe 200 attendees

I've seen otherwise but it's been about 2 years since I've been to one. I also live in a different area but it is still bullshit they do that.

Laws haven't stopped them at all. ATF also allows them to have fully automatic switches on their pistols too.
Do you have any bright ideas that might actually work to lower crime?
